It’s a new week and thus it is time for me to let you all know what you’ll be hearing on Other Side Drive!
Just a friendly reminder: aside from the in-studio music performances and interviews with people involved in all kinds of cool stuff, Other Side Drive has great segments every day of the week for your listening pleasure. It’s also a request block so call us up with your requests! A quick final note: Other Side Drive does get last-minute awesomeness every now and then so be sure to tune in all week!
This Monday, Halie and Charlie will be joined by The Blind Pets! These guys are from up the road (Austin) and are getting ready to go on tour with a kickoff show in Austin on November 8th. They’ll be on the air at 4:30 so don’t miss out.
This Wednesday, Michelle and Melissa will be talking with Tara Brennan from the upcoming Austin Bridal Expo! These events are put on by TexasWeddingMall.com, which helps brides-to-be find the services they need for their weddings. The Bridal Expo puts hundreds of vendors–caterers, photographers, florists and more–in one place for a bride to shop and for businesses to get exposure. Austin’s Bridal Expo will be held on October 28 so tune in Wednesday to learn more about this event!
Friday, Jose and David will be bringing you some west coast tunes via Goldenboy. This four-piece indie group just played at the CMJ festival. They’ve re-released a 10th anniversary edition of their Blue Swan Orchestra LP and will be releasing their new album next month. They’ll be on at 5:30!
