Other Side Drive In Reverse

What a beautiful week filled with culture, for not only Other Side Drive, but for Texas State!

As part of the university’s Common Experience event series, A Global Odyssey, the monks of Tibet’s Drepung Loseling Monastry visited our Texas State campus this whole week! Our hosts, Stephanie and Reyna, had the chance to talk with Dianne McGabe, one of the professors who make Common Experience possible, about all the wonderful events going on throghout the week: including building a sand mandala at our own LBJ Student Center! Elton Fite brought over some of his friends from the San Marcos Boys & Girls Club to tell us about their fourth annual Super Bowl Family Fun Party! It’s an event open to the public with something for every age group: games, food, and even a talent show with prizes for the winners! It’s taking place tomorrow, day before the superbowl (Saturday, February 2), from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
