In album release news,
The Maine’s new album titled Forever Halloween is set to release on June 4. The group will be touring through June and July, with stops scheduled in Austin, Dallas and Houston in July. Some of the tour dates include performances from: A Rocket to the Moon, This Century and Brighten.
Indie punk-pop group from Buffalo, New York, Lemuria, has announced that their third studio album, The Distance is So Big, will be released on June 18.

Bassist Stephen Bruner, known as Thundercat is set to release his new album titled Apocalypse on July 9. Thundercat will be touring this spring, playing shows with Flying Lotus, Ultraista and Teebs. He will be playing in Houston on April 21.
British electronic duo, Disclosure, have announced that their debut album titled Settle will be released on June 3. The group plans to release “You and Me,” a single from their upcoming album, on April 28.
A music festival update:
Outside Lands festival has recently announced its music lineup. The highly awaited festival will include well-known artists such as: Paul McCartney, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Vampire Weekend and Nine Inch Nails, to name a few. The San Francisco festival will take place at the Golden Gate Park on August 9-11.

Rihanna has postponed her Houston show for Tuesday night. One hour before postponing the show, media was told to come to the show. The pop singer’s show that was scheduled for Wednesday night in Dallas was not canceled.
Indie-rock band Yuck posted on Facebook that their front man Daniel Blumberg has left the group to focus on other things. However, the British group will still be heading to New York to record the follow up to their 2011 debut LP.
