In album release news:
Rock group Driver Friendly plans to release a new EP titled Peaks + Valleys on June 4.
Citizen will be releasing their new album titled Youth on June 11.
In tour news,
The Postal Service’s tenth anniversary tour has just gotten a little longer. The group’s additional tour dates will be in the west coast in July. Big Freedia and Divine Fits are scheduled to perform with the band for certain shows.
The Rolling Stones have postponed their Los Angeles tour opening concert. The group’s tour 50 and Counting has been moved back one day and will now start on May 3. The show date was moved back because it would have coincided with the NBA’s playoff schedule.

Folk icon Richie Havens has passed away at age 72. The soulful folk musician passed away of a heart attack on April 22.
Chrissy Amphlett, Divinyls singer, passed away at age 53 on April 21. The singer had been battling breast cancer and multiple sclerosis.
