Crossfit San Marcos Fundraises for Make-A-Wish Foundation

Crossfit San Marcos has organized “Music For Miracles”, a non-proft Music event where all proceeds will benefit the Make a Wish Foundation of Central and South Texas. There will be a bake sale and a suggested donation of $5 at the door cash or check. Make-A-Wish serves in helping strengthen and empower children battling life-threatening medical conditions. Crossfitter and one of the Organizer’s Michelle Hentz, talks about the main reason why Crossfit San Marcos wanted to be a part of Make A Wish.

We really just wanted to give  back to the community and then the glorious thing about Make-A-Wish is that its in central Texas.

“What we donate goes to kids in this area,not really sure who yet but it’ll be someone from Austin/San Marcos/New Braunfels, in that area so that’s kind of the exciting part is giving back to the community,” Hentz said.

Music for Miracles will have Live performances by The Hill Country Gentleman, The Shady Rest Band, Colin Colby and more. The event will be this Saturday, November 16th from 1-5 p-m at Superflys on Unviersity Drive. For information you can contact Crossfit San Marcos on Facebook.
