ThFood Stocke 7th annual San Marcos Foodstock, located on the Courhouse Lawn, features Del Castillo. Cooling down won’t be hard with a watermelon spitting and eating contest, and a Salsa-thon in which participants battle for the title of “Best Salsa.” Other entertainment includes music from The Deer and Goodfield.

The event helps to raise money and supplies for the Hays County Foodbank. There is no admission fee to the festival, but there is a suggested $5 donation.

Festival founders Adam Lilley and Ian Lee joined KTSW in the studio and shared all there is to know about San Marcos’ Foodstock event!
