Yo La Tengo have been making music and touring since the 1980s and are still going strong. With 13 albums released over the past 28 years, the trio has earned their stripes, to say the least. Known for their simple harmonies, intricate instrumentals, poignant lyrics and growing repertoire of cover songs, Yo La Tengo is a must-see band at this year’s Fun Fun Fun Fest this weekend at Austin’s Auditorium Shores. Having included the current members of the band since 1992, Yo La Tengo puts on an incredible live performance that flows with the sort of excitement and ease you would only expect from seasoned touring musicians. Catch the band at 5:55 p.m. Sunday on the Orange Stage.
