• Texas Independence Day Celebration at Cheatham Street Warehouse. Court Nance Band plays at 8:45 p.m., Haley Cole plays at 10 p.m. and Blue Healer plays at 11:15 p.m.

Tuesday March 3

• City Council Meeting at 5 p.m. at the City Council Chambers.
• Tessy Lou & Shotgun with Lucas Eason & The Panhandlers play at Cheatham Street Warehouse. Lucas Eason & The Panhandlers plays at 9 p.m., Tessy Lou & Shotgun plays at 10:45 p.m.
• Waka Flocka with AFK and Yung Nation plays at The Marc.  Doors at 9 p.m.

Wednesday March 4

• Contemporary Books Discussion Club at San Marcos Public Library at 1 p.m. The Book being discussed is The Wives of Los Alamos by TeraShea Nesbit.
• Philosophy Dialogue series at the San Marcos Public Library at 3:30 p.m.
• Texas State Baseball vs. UT-Pan American at Bobcat Baseball Park at 6 p.m.
• The Art of Engineering a Record at Cheatham Street Warehouse at 6:30 p.m.
• Kent Finlay’s Songwriters’ Circle at Cheatham Street Warehouse at 9 p.m.

Thursday March 5

• Environmental Workshop Work in Progress Open House at 5 p.m. at The San Marcos Rec Hall.
• Battle of the Bands: Battle Royale at LBJ Student Center Amphitheatre at 7 p.m.

Friday March 6

• Slander plays at The Marc. Doors at 8 p.m.
• Shinyribs plays at Riley’s Tavern at 9 p.m.

Saturday March 7

• San Marcos Farmer’s Market is held at San Marcos Downtown Square from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Wyzer and Pepper Blues play at Hays Country Barbeque. Pepper Blues plays from noon to 4 p.m., Wyzer plays from 6-10 p.m.
• SMART Orchestra Spring Pops Concert at San Marcos High School Performing Arts Center at 2 p.m.
• Wade Bowen plays at The Marc at 9 p.m.

Sunday March 8

• Unicycle Football at Gold Crown Billiards, with games at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
