Black History Month is the recognizing and celebration of people who identify as African American and/or come from African descent. The month showcases black history and black excellence from past to present.  

Join your hosts, DaLyah Jones and Jacquelyn Carter, as they talk about their favorite leaders in the civil rights movement and the black perspective. This show includes live interviews from Texas State students and their opinions on Black History Month.

The show also features stories from Jairo Devora and Kasandra Garza.

Jairo Devora covers the possibility of a African American studies program at Texas State.

Kasandra Garza talks about Lyndon B. Johnson’s role in the civil rights movement.
