Behind the Sounds with Ryan Dupre: Episode 1 ktsw899

By Ryan Dupre
Podcast Producer

In this first episode of “Behind the Sounds”, Ryan Dupre takes a deep dive into the music of Tame Impala, and what elements give him the unique sound he’s become known for over the past decade.

We’ll spend the segment building a track based on the sound choice and mixing techniques behind Tame Impala’s distinct sound, and narrating the process by breaking down each particular element as we go. By the end of this episode, we will have constructed a brief instrumental track that attempts to emulate the stylistic choices of Kevin Parker, the mastermind behind Tame Impala.
