The Boogie Block

Mondays at 6-8 p.m.

The Boogie Block is your go to show on KTSW if you’re looking for music that is upbeat and dance-y. The music that will be played might make you want to get out of your car and dance but we highly recommend against it. The Boogie Block would no doubt be acceptable in the ’80s from Synth-pop to the Funky basslines. Maybe you’ll even hear some yacht rock miland strong rhythm tracks from your favorite artists.

Extra Loud

Tuesdays at 10 p.m. to midnight.

Break out the scrapbooks, it’s time to look back at your favorite tunes. Is it a special artist’s birthday? An album release? Big concert coming up? Well, let’s play it extra loud today! Join DJ Roxanne every Tuesdays 10 p.m. to midnight.

Sundays 8-10 p.m.

Classics is a show where the far-out musical pioneers of the past can be heard. From Marvin Gaye to the Cocteau Twins to DJ Screw, Classics plays all the artists of the past that helped form our musical world today.

It’s Not a Phase, Mom

Wednesdays 8-10 p.m.

Many of us went through a punk rock phase in our middle school to high school years and some of us never grew out of it. Some of our parents thought it was a phase and that it would pass, sometimes it doesn’t. DJ Nat believes in keeping the punk rock kid inside of all of us alive with old and new punk and alternative rock during “ It’s not a phase, mom”

Times Like These

Mondays 8-10 p.m.

DJ CJ is back for another great semester of specially curated indie rock and pop. Times Like These covers classic and up and coming indie artists. Most weeks feature a themed show from anything to surf rock to DJ CJ’s favorite singles of 2019, you can always expect something different.
