By Ezekiel Ramirez News Reporter On Jan. 31, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton released lawsuits to sue San Marcos along with other Texas cities after they decriminalized low-level possessions of marijuana. Paxton is suing a total of five cities – San Marcos, Austin, Killen, Elgin and Denton for “adopting amnesty and non-prosecution policies that violate Texas laws concerning marijuana possession and distribution,” according to the statement released by his office.
