Directors Steven Silha and Eric Slade’s documentary “Big Joy: The Adventures of James Broughton” had its world premiere at SXSW 2013. The film tells the story of pre-Beat filmmaker and poet James Broughton, whose experimental films explored and celebrated the human body and spirit.
