Three really cool bands recently visited the KTSW studio to talk about their current gigs and projects.

3D Friends, Red Dirt Rangers, and Bubble Puppy
The Red Dirt Rangers from Oklahoma swept in before their gig at Billy’s Ice House in New Braunfels on November 18th. The seasoned group shared their experiences with KTSW and talked about the Oklahoma music scene and their all-encompassing Americana genre called “Red Dirt”.
3D Friends came by the studio last week to talk and play a few songs for us. Currently residing in San Antonio, the three members of the band that originated in Austin, Texas talked about their beginnings as the solo project of Dan C. Wright and their journey thus far, as they have become a pretty well known due to their airtime on MTV shows. It will be exciting to see what they have planned for the future.
Rock N’ Roll Legends, Bubble Puppy, are back together and dropped by the KTSW studios to give us a little taste of the reformed Bubble Puppy. Hot of a performance at Utopia Fest, and gearing up for a show at Sam’s burger Joint in San Antonio this band is back at just like it’s 1969 again. They were sure to give us a glimpse of the past, what’s in the future, a few cool stories and fo course a live acoustic performance.
A couple of weeks ago Volcanos on Lo (formerly known as Phantom Lakes) visited the studio during Other Side Drive to talk about their uncommon album release, "Half-Light". The Fern and Connor got to talk with band members Joel Ganucheau and Jeremy Cruz about cassettes, their upcoming tours, zombie dancing, and all around having fun with their fans.
