Have you heard of Brieanna Grace yet? If not, you will soon. Brieanna is an Austin area singer / songwriter with a set of pipes that could fill a cathedral.  Other Side Drive had the great pleasure of having Brieanna in-studio to talk about her career, the pressures of commercial success and her upcoming album.

Brieanna Grace mixes pop sensibility with deep emotional lyrics bringing them all together by way of her piano keys. Her sound is brooding and relatable. Brieanna takes influence for the feelings, that she believes, all humans share at their core. Arguing, not all pop songs need to be about the good times.

While hanging out in the studio Brieanna previewed two songs that are in the works for her upcoming album. “Stranger” a song with spooky Burton-esque undertones and “Hey Mr. Police Man”, a song about a women searching for the heart she lost somewhere near Wisconsin.

Both song selections showed off Brieanna’s incredible vocal talent. She is able to move up and down the scales with her voice almost as easily as her fingers glide across the keyboard hitting notes in ranges traditionally reserved for one-named pop divas.

Currently, Brieanna is recording a new album with a yet to be announced release date. Here at KTSW we can’t wait to hear how it turns out! Meanwhile check out her in-studio performance and website for more tracks and links to connect with Brieanna on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram.
