Hello there, KTSW fans! It’s your friendly neighborhood DJ, Lady R! During SXSW, I ventured to K-Pop Night Out alongside a group of friends. For those of you who don’t know, K-Pop stands for Korean Pop. It’s a sensation that’s been sweeping the nation just as long as I’ve been alive! The line-up included Jambinai, Kiha & the Faces, Nell, Crying Nut, Idiotape, Jay Park, and HyunA. They were all wonderful acts indeed but my attention was stolen by non other than K-Pop idol, Jay Park. He is seriously cute and talented! He even smiled at me during his performance! Eeeek! Anyway, I’d count the night as a total success! I had the joys of hanging with my buds, tasting pizza from a truck, listening to people speak another language, and even a personal sighting of Lady Gaga! I enjoyed it very much and I look forward to returning next year!
