Coming off a 35-30 win over Idaho, the Texas State Bobcats look to win its third straight game and improve to 2 and 0 in conference and 4 and 2 for the season. The Bobcats host University of Louisiana Lafayette, the defending Sunbelt champions, at 7 p.m. today The game will be aired on ESPN2 and will be the only college football game showing tonight.

Last Wednesday I visited the team’s practice to interview some of the players. I asked sophomore safety Germod Williams, junior wide receiver Brandon Smith and senior guard Charlie Will Tuttle…

Makensie Hinkle: What is your favorite song to dance to?

Germod Williams: Favorite song to dance to? I’d say “Set it off” by Boosie.

Brandon Smith: Umm. “Cupid Shuffle.”

Charlie Will Tuttle: I like to two-step. So I like to two step to Jason Aldean’s “My Kinda Party.”

MH: Can you sing it for me?

GW: *Hums song*

BS: *Sings* “…To the left, to the left, to the left”

CWT: No, I can’t hum it for you.

Q: Who on the team would you say has the worst sense of fashion?

GW: All my boys got fashion. All my boys on the team got fashion. We all get on to each other, but all my boys got some fashion.

BS: Ben Ijah. He’s from CALI and Cali guys cannot dress. Tell him I said that too!

Q: Who on the team is most likely to have a Reba McEntire ringtone?

GW: Reba McEntire ringtone… I say my boy CJ Best.

BS: Gabe Schrade.

CWT: Uhm probably Will Johnson.
