Texas emo act Mineral reunited after 17 years in April and will be performing today during the ninth annual Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin. Mineral has been aggressively touring since the announcement of their reunion, exciting their cult following of fans from around the world. Mineral has only two albums to their name: 1997’s “The Power of Failing” and 1998’s “EndSerenading.” Despite what may seem like a minimal existence, they are a heavily influential band to artists of their time and beyond. Catch them at 3:10 p.m. today on the Orange Stage at Auditorium Shores.
