Texas State Women’s Volleyball lose in straight sets to Arkansas-Little Rock. Texas State was overwhelmed the whole match losing in three set to Arkansas- Little Rock (25-10, 25-21, 25-21). Texas State’s record falls to 17-11 overall and 12-4 in conference.
Kelsey Weynandled the Bobcats in kills with six while Alexandra Simms finished with five. UALR outside hitter Sonja Milanovic led the Trojans with 16 kills in the match. Edina Begic finished with 12 kills and 11 digs.
Caylin Mahoney, senior setter, led the Bobcats for the third straight game in assists with 20 tonight. Sierra Smithled the team in digs with 10, and Brenna Lyles added nine more.
Texas State will look to bounce back Friday when the Bobcats host Georgia State at 6:30 p.m. and Troy Saturday at 6:30 p.m.. The Bobcats will host the Sun Belt Conference Championship Tournament on Thanksgiving weekend.
