The Texas State University football program confirmed late Wednesday, January 6 that defensive tackle junior Will Trevillion had died at 20 years old.
Hays County Justice of the Peace Beth Smith said there is no suspected foul play, but that an autopsy has been ordered.
The Texas State football program released a series of tweets expressing their condolences and love for the Trevillion family.

Texas State Athletic Director Larry Teis was visibly shaken as he mentioned Trevillion’s passing during a press conference that was held that following Thursday.
“It just comes crashing down on you. It was tough,” said Teis. “But Will, we’re thinking about you and I’m sure this year the kids will rally around you.”
The unexpected death follows a medical procedure Trevillion had a few months ago after Trevillion expressed issues with breathing.
Trevillion was from Buda, Texas, and graduated from Hays High School in 2013.
