Bobcat Radio Is Back From Spring Break

Bobcat Radio is back from a week long spring break to discuss Texas State Athletics. Ryan, Jason and Jonathan discuss the men’s basketball team first round win in the Sun Belt Conference against Georgia State in New Orleans. They also discuss the Bobcats falling short in the second round of the SBC tournament against UT-Arlington 63-72.

Ryan, Jason and Jonathan talk about the state of the the Bobcats basketball team after losing key seniors. They will take a look at some potential leaders for next year and who they expect to fill the shoes of the seniors from this past season. The guys also speak on who they might think will be the “ace” for the Texas State baseball team throughout the rest of the season as they continue their impressive start to the season.

The baseball discussion continues as the guys look on to the big series the baseball team has against South Alabama coming up later this week in San Marcos. This will be the battle of the top teams in the Sun Belt Conference as the Bobcats and the Jaguars have identical conference and overall records thus far this season. They also discuss the recent slump of the softball team and how they could potentially bounce back throughout the rest of the year.

The women’s basketball season has wrapped up as well and after a pretty disappointing season finishing with a 12-19 record and having a first round exit in the SBC tournament. Bobcat Radio takes a look at the up and coming young talent on the women’s basketball team in hopes of a better season next year. Wrapping up BCR for the day, the guys discuss March Madness and what they think of this years tournament action.
