Four Bobcats Named for All-Conference Teams

The Sun Belt Conference announced the 2016 Baseball All-Conference teams and individual award winners on Tuesday night at Bobcat Ballpark. Texas State seniors Cory Geisler and Tanner Hill both received first team All-Conference honors. Bobcat pitcher Pasquale Mazzoccoli and left fielder Granger Studdard were given second team honors.

Eight other Bobcats earned academic honors. Student-athletes are recognized for a 3.5 grade point average or higher. The Bobcats receiving these honors are Theodore Hoffman, Jared Huber, Cody Lovejoy and Joe Powell. Bobcats receiving Academic Honor Roll recognition, a group of student-athletes with a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.5, were Justin Dellinger, Jeremy Hallonquist, Mazzoccoli and Luke Sherley.
