Guster spent the last 10 seasons as an assistant with UTSA finding great success. He was a part of a Roadrunner team that was the first UTSA team win a postseason game in any sport. His teams broke 20 school records while Guster was a Roadrunner.

While at UTSA Guster assisted with recruiting along with his on the court coaching. His 10 years of recruiting experience in the Central Texas area will benefit future recruiting classes.

Guster has worked with his team’s academics and has taken them seriously himself. After graduating from the University of Missouri-Rolla, currently known as Missouri S&T, he enrolled at Southwest Missouri State University to earn a master’s degree.

Guster enjoyed an excellent athletic career, starting at West Plains before transferring to Missouri-Rolla to be the starting point guard. In his two years at Missouri Rolla he enjoyed back to back winning seasons while leading the team in assists.

In his years before UTSA Guster served as an assistant at Missouri State-West Plains Community College. While at West Plains 10 of the players he recruited went on to play NCAA Division I basketball.

Guster rounds out a group of eight recruits and one coach to join the Bobcats in this recruiting season. Look for Guster to work towards bringing in great future recruiting classes to complement his on the court presence this coming season.
