Texas State sprinter, Tramesha Hardy, became the second Bobcat this season to garner Sun Belt Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors after her impressive performance over the weekend at the Adidas Classic in Lincoln, Nebraska.The red-shirt sophomore posted three top SBC times in three different events at the indoor meet.

Hardy started off by winning the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.46 seconds, which was a new personal best, and third fastest in school history. She then went on to post a 23.94 second time in the 200-meter, in which she placed second. Hardy ended her exciting day by leading the 4×400-meter relay that crossed the finish line with a time of 3:42.93, which set a new school record.
She and the rest of the Bobcats will look to dominate the track again at the Jaguar Invitational in Birmingham, Alabama on Feb. 5. This will be the final regular season indoor meet for the men’s and women’s teams before they compete in the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships.
