Bobcats Dominate TCU

Texas State Bobcats (13-7) hosted the Texas Christian Horned Frogs (9-7) at Strahan Coliseum on Tuesday for the 11th Annual Pick Out Match. The Lady Bobcats defeated TCU with the match ending 3-1. The Bobcats were coming off a five game winning streak, all five being sweeps, with hopes to pick up there sixth straight win against TCU; the Bobcats did so with intensity and key communication! Texas State won the first two matches with ease, but by the third set, TCU put the pedal to the metal and picked up a win in that set to stop the Bobcats from repeating their streak of sweeps. There were a few moments throughout the match where the Bobcats had a few errors, but they rallied back from the small mistakes to take home the win! The Bobcats were led by #5 Megan Porter, #7 Amy Pflughaupt, #10 Madison Daigle who totaled for 37 of the Bobcats 53 kills on the night! Texas State Volleyball moves onto a 14-7 record overall with TCU having a 9-8 record.
