The Eagles won the Super Bowl Sunday, so Monday is dedicated to overthinking every decision and play from the night before. Bobcat Radio is no exception, but first, we talk men’s and women’s basketball. Joined by Dominic Ansley and Alex Gibbs, the group talked about a wide range of topics ranging from who compares to Toshua Leavitt to what Nick Foles is actually worth.

The women’s team is on a four-game winning streak, beating four of the bottom five teams in the Sun Belt Conference before playing the top of the conference next week. The Bobcats will face UTA on Saturday and their dominant center, a road game for the team. I would predict this team would be favored, especially after the way the Bobcats tore through Appalachian State last weekend.

The men’s team is the opposite, dropping three of their last four and struggling to score points in conference play. The lack of offensive play makes it tricky to really find out how far this team can actually go when it comes to the Sun Belt Conference tournament next month in New Orleans. They also play UTA, a team that has been moving the needle in the right direction at the right time.

In Super Bowl talk, everyone agreed that the Eagles were the better team for the majority of the game, but nobody really knows what to do with Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles. The argument on both sides of the “Trade/Don’t Trade” are very convincing, but at the end of the day it’s hard to argue that the Eagles aren’t set up for success in the future.

You can listen to Bobcat Radio every Monday-Wednesday-Friday from 11 a.m. to noon. Look for the Riding the Pine Podcast on the KTSW Blog and the Texas State Student Media SoundCloud.
