Humans of San Marcos — Out Loud: Bekah Porter
By Nick Williams
Segment Producer
The Humans of San Marcos — Out Loud project is a a take on the “Human’s Of” series that aims to examine the experience of individuals in the San Marcos area through the medium of audio recording.
This segment tells a piece of the story of Bekah Porter, an artist and communicator, who moved to the city to attend Texas State University. Tracing her journey from the fast-paced world of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to the relaxed and artistic lifestyle she’s been able to find in San Marcos, this edition of Humans Out Loud is a story about what happens when you follow your inner intuition and find a home in a new place.
