This week’s Bobcat Radio put the “fun” back in fundraising. After the Wednesday crew got down to business and talked about the pains of fundraising for athletics compared to other programs here at Texas State and last night’s baseball game in College Station, we welcomed Assistant Athletic Director of Development Tom Meade to the show. Mr. Meade discussed the joys of migrating from the Northeast to warmer climates, community ties in the athletic alumni foundations, and why San Marcos is the place to be. In the end, Mr. Meade seems to enjoy his time here at Texas State with the 30th Annual Bobcat Bonanza coming up this Saturday. Afterwards, we continue our debate over softball’s chances to win the Sun Belt tournament after losing the series to Louisiana-Lafayette. Finally, we give you our midweek spotlights and I share my fears over the drama surrounding the San Antonio Spurs.
Tune into Bobcat Radio every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m. to noon for the only all-sports radio show in San Marcos. You don’t want to miss it. Also, give us a follow on Twitter @KTSWSports for updates on the Bobcats! Thanks for listening!
