The Monday Catch Up with Jake Spavital

Bobcat Radio is a 30-minute specialty show discussing everything Texas State and San Marcos sports. Three staff members jump on the mics three times a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11 a.m. and discuss sports. A guest joins each episode, namely a coach, player or figure close to the athletic programs at Texas State and San Marcos High School.
Episode Description: Garrett Martin, Mason Moore and Connor MacKinnon wrap up the past weekend in Texas State sports. First Bobcat soccer and San Marcos football, then the crew plays a little game of “guess who” with the Texas State volleyball stat lines from the past weekend. The crew sums up a little bit about the Texas State football game on Saturday night. After the break, head football coach Jake Spavital joins the show to talk about the Nicholls State game, what his bye week consists of, and what his coaching rating would be on a Madden game. Mason lays out the weather forecast and the rest…is history.
