Sun Belt Coach of the Year Karen Chisum Joins Bobcat Radio

Bobcat Radio is a 30-minute specialty show discussing everything Texas State and San Marcos sports. Three staff members jump on the mics three times a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11 a.m. and discuss sports. A guest joins each episode, namely a coach, player or figure close to the athletic programs at Texas State and San Marcos High School.
The Wednesday crew of host Connor Mackinnon, and co-hosts Jude McClaren and Jacob Staires talk with back-to-back Sun Belt coach of the year and head coach of Bobcat volleyball Karen Chisum! They dive deep into the regular season as a whole, and preview the Sun Belt conference tournament this weekend in San Marcos. Chisum also gives us good news regarding the health of sophomore middle blocker Jillian Slaughter.
The “Triple-J and C” combo also talks some Texas State Football, San Marcos High School Boys Basketball and play another round of “Name that Bobcat” led by producer Josh Orozco where a new weekly champion is crowned.
