Bobcat Radio is a 30-minute specialty show discussing everything Texas State and San Marcos sports. Three staff members jump on the mics three times a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11 a.m. and discuss sports. A guest joins each episode, namely a coach, player or figure close to the athletic programs at Texas State and San Marcos High School.
On this Valentine’s Day episode, we celebrate the victories of all Texas State sports the night before on Thursday, Feb 13.
Host Garrett Martin and co-host Gage Sutton pick apart the wins each of the Texas State basketball teams picked up against Little Rock. They share soundbites from Texas State head softball coach, Ricci Woodard, senior third baseman, Hailey MacKay, and Texas State men’s basketball assistant coach, Jim Shaw.
Coach Woodard and Texas State softball enjoy a sweet victory with a walk-off win over the UTSA Roadrunners. The guys go over reaction to the fantastic victory.
The Texas State baseball opening day against Stony Brook is this evening, so Garrett and Gage preview the players that are impactful in the lineup and the starting rotation.
