The avocado, or more famously known as the “Green Gold” down in Mexico, is one of their most lucrative exports to the United States. However, there is a large cost in both violence (think of cartels) as well as the cost to the environment to get these fruits to us so we can enjoy them on Super Bowl Sunday.
