Bobcat Belles is a student-led organization that was established by a group of women who
shared one common interest: their love for Bobcat Football.
The Bobcat Belles’ mission is to support the Texas State Football Program by promoting school
spirit and growth. Since the creation of this women’s organization in 2011, the Belles have built
lifelong friendships, everlasting memories, and experienced opportunities for success.
The Bobcat Belles work hand in hand with the football program assisting on game days, working
in the coaching office and reviewing potential recruits. A typical game day for a Belle starts with
a game day job, which consists of anything from checking in recruits, working in the Pavilion, to
even babysitting. This is followed by sitting in their designated section to cheer on the Texas
State Bobcats. On a weekly basis, there are required meetings as well as office hours at Bobcat
Stadium.
Although this organization is built upon the foundation of football, there is so much more to the
Bobcat Belles. In addition to the parents weekend tailgate and homecoming events, they also
host date parties, big/little reveals, community service projects, holiday parties and a spring
banquet. In order to enhance inclusivity throughout the organization, the Belles also have
socials such as volleyball and trivia nights.
A significant aspect of Belles is their philanthropy NO MORE. NO MORE is an organization that
“is dedicated to ending domestic violence and sexual assault by increasing awareness, inspiring
action, and fueling cultural change.” With the launch in 2013, NO MORE has worked to promote
their message and amplify their voice and is now the most extensive domestic violence and
sexual assault awareness initiative. They now host “NO MORE Week” which unifies allies
across America in a 5k race and webinar series. From March 5th- March 12th, they will be
uniting the nation and highlighting the urgent need for “More NO MORE”.
In contribution to No More week, Bobcat Belles is hosting a profit share at Torchy’s Tacos in San
Marcos on March 1st from 4-8pm. All proceeds will be donated to No More in solidarity of their
purpose. Bobcat Belles stands with NO MORE and hopes to motivate others to do the same.
In addition, Bobcat Belles recruits at the beginning of every Fall Semester and urges you to go
through recruitment!
“Bobcat Belles is an incredible community of diverse women working hard to promote spirit and
growth for Texas State Football! Joining Belles one was one of the best decisions I made and I
would encourage everyone to go for it and be themselves!” – Fallon Goldsmith, President of
Bobcat Belles.
