Hello! I’m Emma Peters, a dynamic and results-driven senior at Texas State University, majoring in Mass Communications with a minor in Media Studies. With a passion for storytelling and community engagement, I’ve gained hands-on experience working in fast-paced environments, where I thrive both as a leader and as a collaborative team member.
As the Executive Director of the News and Culture Department at KTSW, I’m responsible for assigning, reporting, writing, and editing articles for KTSW’s blog, with a focus on keeping Texas State students and the San Marcos community informed. It’s an exciting opportunity to help shape the department’s content and contribute to the growth of student journalism.
