SXSW 2014: Journalist Anabel Hernandez Interview
By Jordan Gass-Poore' Award-winning investigative journalist and author Anabel Hernandez spoke with me briefly during this year's SXSW about covering the narcotics trade in Mexico. Hernandez was at the festival for her work with the documentary The Legend of Shorty, which attempts to find former Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" (Shorty) Guzman. Last month, authorities captured Guzman, who had been on the run for years.
