Somebody Called Hits the Stage

Texas State Theater’s latest production has hit the stage. The Texas State Theater Department’s latest offering opened Tuesday night, February 18.  It is titled, “Somebody Called,” and it will be shown in the theater main stage through Sunday.  The play, which is based on the Shakespeare classic Othello, is about two preachers.  It is set in the 1950s and examines the start of the Civil Rights movement from the perspective […]
