Babel is the second studio album by the British Indie Fold bank Mumford & Sons. Upon its release, Babel debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and we can say it happened for a number of reasons – the vulnerability of Marcus Mumdord’s voice, the popular banjo riffs and the dark moments of pure emotion hidden within the lyrics. This album makes any past relationship relatable with its honest and heartfelt words. The album’s official lead single “I Will Wait” has Marcus proclaiming his helplessness for the one his heart desires. If you’re a sucker for harmonizing check out “Below My Feet” and “Ghost We Know.” For a change of pace tune into “Broken Crown”. Most have named this album one of last year’s best filled with “folk-rock swag.”
