The Swiss singer and multi instrumentalist just released her fourth album “On the Hills”. Heidi Happy is known for her playful melodies, catchy lyrics and unconventional instruments. She has been compared to the likes of Kimbra – a local favorite in the Austin area. The album is a perfect mix of her previous three: Hiding with the Wolves; Flowers, Birds, and Home; Back Together. This record was intentionally planned to be “a record in a week” but fellow musicians and String Trio came together to play up the record. No song does wrong on this album, and it leaves you with a smile whenever you take a listen. Popular tracks from “On the Hills” include Big Boy, Dance with Another, Patient Heart and Sailors.

When I first heard this album, I thought it was decent. It was catchy and the vocalist had a great voice. It made for a good Indie-Pop album.
