Newscast: Accounting Department Recieves Accreditation
Texas State’s Accounting department recently received accreditation from The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). This is a unique accreditation earned by less than five percent of business programs worldwide.
The application for earning accreditation from AACSB is very detailed and takes several years to complete. Dr. Rosie Morris, a professor for the school of accounting, speaks about what the department has done to maintain excellence in their department and earn this accreditation.

Only 182 accounting departments in forty-five countries and regions have been given this accreditation.
