Following a week working on new recordings in the studio, Bottom Dollar String Band performed on Other Side Drive’s special edition for College Radio Day. Former students of Texas State, the band has transitioned to new pursuits and continued to develop their band. A new addition of Ben Lemay on fiddle earlier this year has allowed them to fill in any holes that may have been missing. With features on KUT and collaborations with White Denim, their straight take on the bluegrass genre continues to find them success.
Here’s a bluegrass cover of the White Denim song “Pretty Green” which Bottom Dollar was asked to join in on earlier this year.
