Music festivals occur all around the world, but when you have a river running through the festival grounds, you know it’s something special. On August 31 thousands of San Martians flocked to Floatfest to enjoy a day on the river and some amazing bands. The last two acts of the day were none other than Portugal. The Man and Grouplove who performed at the festival as part of their co-headlining Honda Civic Tour. This weekend marks the 6th Annual Utopia Festival, a camping and music festival staged two hours west of San Marcos. The festival expects to draw a crowd, but not a large one.
