Well, it’s that time of year again. The day when pumpkins have been carved, scary decorations are placed in every yard and costumes are crafted to perfection.
Growing up, I always loved Halloween; it was one of my favorite times of the year. I loved finding the perfect costume, seeing all of the carved pumpkins and watching movies like “Hocus Pocus” and “Halloweentown.” But above all that, my holy grail of Halloween season was trick-‘r-treating.
I’ve always had a massive sweet tooth. As a kid I would beg my parents for candy every chance I got, so being able to get as much free candy as I could carry while dressing up in cool costumes and having a great time with my friends was the best time I could have asked for. I would spend hours trick-‘r-treating with my friends and would hit every single house I could, no matter how far I had to walk.
I was that obnoxious 17 year old that was still trick-‘r-treating on Halloween. Yes, Halloween is a holiday for young kids to dress up as princesses, ghosts and witches for an hour or two and get a little bit of candy but that didn’t stop me. Even though I got some very strange looks I didn’t care because I got massive amounts of free candy, and no amount of strange looks could take that joy away from me.
I have so many great memories from past Halloweens. The memories I share with my friends are ones that I will cherish forever. But honestly, the memories are just the icing on the cake. And that cake is made of candy.

In my opinion, this is the scariest movie ever created. I am a fan of the horror genre and believe that VERY few movies can even compete with "The Exorcist." Ask your parents (or guardians) what they think the scariest movie is -- […]
