Monday February 2

  • Registration for American Sign Language Class opens at the San Marcos Public Library.
  • The San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter volunteer orientation is at 5 p.m. Call 512-805-2657 for more information
  • Kent Finlay’s Songwriters’ Circle at Cheatham Street Warehouse is at 9 p.m.

Tuesday February 3

  • At 5 p.m. there is City Council meeting at City Hall, 630 E. Hopkins.
  • Holy Cole CD release at Cheatham Street Warehouse. Supporting act plays at 9:15 p.m., Cole plays at 11 p.m.

Wednesday February 4

  • Randy Rodgers is playing a special acoustic set at Cheatham Street Warehouse with guest Ben Danaher. Doors at 8 p.m.

Thursday February 5

  • Adam Carroll and Chris Carroll live at Cheatham Street Warehouse. Chris Carroll plays at 9:30 p.m., Adam Carroll plays at 10:30 p.m.

Friday February 6

  • Texas State Softball vs. Northern Illinois at Bobcat Softball Stadium at 5:30 p.m.
  • Eddie Durham Celebration will be held at Evans Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
  • Jonny Burke with guest Drew Fish play live at Cheatham Street Warehouse.  Fish plays at 9:15 p.m., Burke plays at 10:30 p.m.

Saturday February 7

  • San Marcos Farmer’s Market is held at San Marcos Downtown Square from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Texas State Softball vs. Sam Houston State at Bobcat Softball Stadium at 10 a.m.
  • Texas State Softball vs. Pittsburg at Bobcat Softball Stadium at 12:30 p.m.
  • 2015 Hill Country Jazz Festival at Evans Auditorium at 6 p.m.

Sunday February 8

  • The SMMA Gear Up 10 Mile Run supporting local scholarships at Tanger Outlet Center at 7 a.m. Runners should show up 45 minutes before the race. Registration required.
  • Unicycle Football at Gold Crown Billiards, with games at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
  • Texas State Softball vs. Northern Illinois at Bobcat Softball Stadium at 11 a.m.
