Torchy;’s Tacos began in Austin, when cheff Michael Rypka left his chef job to start his own food business. That business began as a food trailer on Barton creek at South First, and then grew into many locations, including Austin, Round Rock, San Antonio, dallas, and now San Marcos.
Their menu includes breakfast tacos, meat tacos, desserts, drinks, and appetizers like chips and queso.
Many locations, like the one in San Marcos, has a full bar for those who are 21 and up.
