The Keep San Marcos Beautiful Spring Concert Series at Plaza Park is back, with The Spazmatics. Activities begin at 6:30 p.m., music begins at 7:30 p.m.
Yellow Claw performs at The Marc. Doors are at 8 p.m.
Shane Smith Band plays at Cheatham Street Warehouse with a special guest. They play at 9 p.m.
Friday April 10
The Friends of the Library Book Sale is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the San Marcos Rec Hall.
The Spring Downtown Art and Wine Walk will be at the Square from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Texas Renegade plays at 10:30 at Cheatham Street Warehouse.
Saturday April 11
San Marcos Farmer’s Market will be held at San Marcos Downtown Square from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Art Squared Art Market will be held at San Marco’s downtown square from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
ACK (Austin Kayak) is having a free demo from 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Texas Ski Ranch.
Youth Fest will be at Plaza Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Friends of the Library Book Sale is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the San Marcos Rec Hall.
The Texas Wild Rice Festival will be at Sewell Park from noon to 11 p.m. From noon to 6 p.m. there will be free workshops in science, sustainability, arts and crafts, movement arts, history and guided river hikes. From noon to 11 p.m. there will be music performances on the main stage. From 9-11 p.m. there will be a screening of Yakona with live orchestra. From noon to 6 p.m. there will be vendors and educational booths. From 2-6 there will be keynote speakers on several water issues of Central Texas.
