When?
Every other Thursday at 5 p.m. in McCoy 127

Purpose?
“Our purpose is to help members network with each other and professionals from accounting firms of all sizes. We provide information and opportunities that assist our members in obtaining internships and full-time employment after college.” -Jordan Draper, Vice President of Finances

Who should join?
“Accounting Club is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about the field. Of course the majority of our members are accounting majors, but the networking opportunities available can benefit anyone looking for a job or who are just interested in building professional relationships. ” – Draper

How do you get involved?
“Coming to the meetings is the best and easiest way to get involved. We announce upcoming events and are available to answer any questions. Near the beginning of every semester, we hold an event called Meet the Firms which is essentially a job fair geared towards accounting students. We have a golf tournament and alumni dinner in the fall semesters, and we often participate in various volunteer activities such as Bobcat Build.” – Draper

Any upcoming special events?
“We have a special meeting coming up on April 23. This will be our intern panel where members will be able to hear about the experience of students who just finished their internship this March. This gives attendees the chance to learn about the internship process from someone who just went through it a month earlier.” – Draper
