This In the Public Interest segment is a Spring Break themed show and we had KTSW News reporters report on a variety of issues revolving around Spring Break.

Taylor Zavala highlights H.E.A.T organization at Texas State University and talks about their annual trip to Costa Rica, where they give back to the community.

Reynaldo Leanos Jr. talks about School Fuel San Marcos and how the organization gives back to San Marcos school children throughout the year and during Spring Break.

Joseph Teagle discusses how businesses in San Marcos are impacted during Spring Break when most students leave the area and go back home.
