The City of San Marcos staff will be sharing information with residents who experienced flood damage to their homes during the Memorial Weekend flood on Saturday, August 15th from 9 a.m. to at Conway Park, 504 Bliss Ln.
The event will give homeowners the opportunity to discuss floodplain permits, city code requirements and their options with the city staff.
In addition to answering questions, the staff will be issuing floodplain permit to those who qualify. Residents seeking permits should bring:

The city will also have information from FEMA and local volunteer groups for residents who may need assistance with cleanup, repairs or rebuilding.
The City of San Marcos has created a Frequently Asked Questions Guide for those who have questions about Substantial Damage Determination Notices, floodplain permits and other rebuilding issues. The guide is available at www.sanmarcostx.gov/smtxfloodrebuild
