Feminists United at Texas State University is a diverse student organization that strives to continue inclusive and constructive conversations around feminism and gender equality. They meet every Tuesday at 7 p.m. in UAC Room 275.
Patti McChesney, fundraising officer for Feminists United, spoke with Girl Power on Wednesday, Sept. 23 on why feminism is important and what drew her to become involved in the organization.
