The San Marcos City Council will host a workshop tonight discussing San Marcos infrastructure.
The workshop will discuss downtown parking as well as one-way or two way street conversions.
Director of Communications, Kristi Wyatt says the event should help solve questions residents may have, saying “Anybody who’s interested in learning about the options downtown when it comes to parking and traffic, and the flow of traffic, is more than welcome to attend and get a little bit of background about some of the suggestions staff has and some of the thoughts council has.”
Wyatt also hopes San Marcos residents will utilize the workshop, saying “When moving forward with these projects, it’s a really good opportunity for anybody who works in the downtown area, goes to school in the downtown area, or frequents that area, because obviously it will have some impacts on people who utilize that area.”
There will be a question and answer session for the public, and the workshop is scheduled for to begin at 6 p.m. in City Hall. You can find the complete workshop agenda here.
